Setting Up (Behind the Scenes)

Daniel Gaviani
No Name (Boom), 2025
Acrylic on Canvas
To me, this feels like a mural of the mind: a little chaotic, but oddly comforting.

That liitle "BOOM!" at the bottom feels like the punchline - or the moment something finally clicks. I remember adding that in when I felt my adrenaline rush during this creation.

No Name, 2025
Acrylic on Canvas
This piece is a stream of instinct - a place where thoughts, symbols, and feelings blur together without needing to be sorted.

It celebrates letting the subconscious lead and not overthinking what wants to come through.

Golden Hour, 2024
Acrylic on Plywood
A swirl of chaos and color.

This one felt layered and tangled. To me, it's forms speak to the beauty found in disorder.

Nature reclaims.

The Temptation of Saint Teddy, 2025
Acrylic on Canvas
A saint in soft fur and wide eyes. Teddy stands at the edge of innocence, surrounded by earthly pleasures, fractured identities, and psychadelic temptations.

This piece reimagines the classic spiritual trial - not with fire and brimstone, but with flowers and faces.

Rorschach Series, 2024
Black Sharpie on Paper
Each of these was made in under 15 minutes - no planning, no erasing, no overthinking. The goal was to let the hand move faster than the mind. What emerged was a cast of characters, inner voices, and fragments.

This series is about releasing control and trusting instinct - even when the outcome is strange or unclear.

Is There Life on Mars? 2023
Acrylic on Canvas
This one is electric - full of motion, symbols, and saturated gestures.

It feels like a language trying to form itself, or maybe the unraveling of one.

Sunset, 2023
Acrylic on Wooden Panel

Thank you for seeing me when I struggled to see myself.

Let That Sh*t Go (Installation), 2025
Paper and Guitar Case
Guests are encouraged to write something that has been weighing heavy on their minds - a loss, a struggle - something too heavy to continue to carry. Then, guests crumble the paper and toss it into the open guitar case, becoming a part of the energy of the room.
All entries will be burned on May 31st, celebrating the release.

My first completed painting from college.

I remember feeling like I cracked some major code like a wild conspiracy theorist or something.

This painting changed my life.

Sara with Dove and Flowers, 2024
Acrylic on Canvas
This vibrant portrait of my fiancée, Sara, celebrates love, growth, and peace. Surrounded by flowers and holding a dove, symbols of harmony and new beginnings, the painting reflects the joy and rootedness we find in each other.

Mirror, 2022
Acrylic on Thrift Store Mirror
Someone let go of this mirror once.
When I found it, it was broken, dirty, and neglected.
